María Lucía Amador
Areas of Practice
María Lucía is Counsel in Mendoza’s Infrastructure, Transportation and Financing Practice. She has 11 years of experience in infrastructure project finance, public procurement and sovereign debt.
She has advised local and international lenders and sponsors in the financing and refinancing of fourth generation (4G) toll-road projects and massive transportation systems, as well as state-owned entities and development banks in sovereign debt transactions. Moreover, she has advised clients in their participation in public bidding procedures, in the performance of concession and PPP contracts and, in general, in matters related to public procurement and administrative law.
Before joining the Firm, María Lucía lead the Banking & Finance, Public Procurement and Infrastructure practice areas of a leading international law firm based in Colombia, and she worked as an associate for other renowned law firms in the same specialties.
She has been recognized by Chambers and Partners as Associate to Watch in the Public Law area, and as a Rising Star by Legal 500 in the Banking & Finance and Public Law areas. Maria Lucia is an assistant professor at Universidad de los Andes and has been a speaker at several events related to infrastructure.
