Martín is an associate in our Private Equity and M&A and Energy and Renewables practices at Mendoza. His professional experience has centered around drafting, negotiating and reviewing stock purchase agreements and ancillary documents over photovoltaic energy generation projects and businesses in other industries. Martín has also participated in the review and amendment of limited partnership agreements for private equity funds in Colombia. Likewise, he has carried out due diligence processes, identifying legal and regulatory risks that may arise in financing transactions within the energy industry, as well as negotiation and review of credit agreements according to the results of such due diligence findings.

Before joining Mendoza, Martín carried out AML KYC due diligence processes and provided assitance in legal, corporate and administrative matters in a well known company in the fuel distribution sector in Colombia.

Counsel to FDN on the structuring and negotiation of Colombia’s first letter of credit facility charged to the project’s credit line, granted to Energía de Colombia STR for the refinancing of the UPME STR 02-2019 Project for COP 700 billion.
